Don't Go

In the depth of a dark storm, only a flash of white of a young akita wolf, bounding through the night forest shatters its grip and stillness upon the land. She tracks paw marks in the rain as splashes of mud drench her dark blue tinted fur. Eyes wide yet filled with urgency and tears as she tears through the paths. So the scent becomes stronger, and her pace increases. Up ahead, a large dark female wolf treads through the softened ground with ease, only to soon hear the paw steps of another following her. She turns her head to view the soaked small ninja wolf dog behind her, with eyes swollen of tears. The large females gaze, bright with a crimson glow sights the young one with a frown.
"What are you doing here, Sukai? go home." she says with a deep whispering voice as she starts to walk off.
"why? why are you leaving?" Sukai spoke, her voice heavey with emotion and exhaustion from her running, "Do you no longer care about us?" She barks.
The large female stops and turns once more, "I never did Sukai. But I thought you would have seen that."
Sukai's jaw dropped from shock upon hearing the wolfs words. they cut into her heart like a blade, shattering it. "So," she paused, "we always meant nothing to you? Even.....even after everything that happened?" her voice began to esculate, forced by her shock and fear.
"I thought....we was like a family"
"You was wrong to think that. Now go back, before you die out here. you're wasting your time."
"Please Ginga, you cant just leave like this!" the young wolf dog pleaded. "it's not too late to come home with me." She uttered as her tears began to fall from her green eyes.
"I never intended to stay this long anyway. and I never wanted to be a part of this pack. You're all pathetic. And, you was an idiot to not see I didn't want to be a part of your family. So, if you are done being an idiot for once, go home. and don't look back." Ginga spoke in a serious tone, with annoyance.
Sukai almost collapsed into the muddy ground around her. Shaking from cold and sorrow as to hear these words from her once mentor and saviour. Ginga huffed and walked off into the darkness. the young female sat there, shocked. but with a last ditch attempt, she shouted,
"Ginga, Please. Don't go!"
For a moment, Ginga stopped. and without looking back, she uttered the words that Sukai would forever have echo in her heart;
"Don't follow me, kid!" to which, she then ran, into the storm. Leaving behind a shattered and broken student that had always believed she was a good wolf at heart. As she ran from Sukai, tears left her eyes.
"I'm sorry Sukai, and the rest of you. But, this is for the best" she said silently to herself.
Sukai had no strength left and so all she saw was the glowing markings of Ginga fade into the shadows.
